Pre-markup
Before a markup was added. Typically used to refer to financial items where a 'markup' would be an additional price added to the total. The pre-markup would be the total before the additional cost was added.
Pre-markup refers to the initial cost estimates prepared during the early stages of a project, before detailed design and pricing adjustments. It provides a baseline for budgeting and financial planning, helping stakeholders understand potential costs and make informed decisions.
